This is her royal majesty, Scooter, who has finally decided to pose for your viewing pleasure. Scooter is a cat who was born on the harsh streets of Miami, Florida, USA. After her owners ejected her from their home and into the street as a kitten, she became the building cat where I used to live. Many of us took it upon ourselves to care for her. One day during 1993 she came in to my apartment for an evening snack and never left. We've been together ever since. Scooter, like all cats, would rule the world if she had opposable thumbs. Scooter's exact age is unknown, but she's about 15 or 16 years old this year (2004). Scooter is a wonderful, but psychotic friend. Her majesty enjoys the occasional lizard who finds its way into the house; often she will leave part of it on the floor as a gift for me.

As she ages, she's becoming more set in her ways, but I am learning to adjust to her whim and fancy. Woe be the human who doesn't see it that way.

This really cool picture to the right was taken 6 April 2001 around 1030pm. I was fixing up my briefcase with some stuff for an out of town business trip. I came back into my room after finding my travel documents, and her majesty had moved in. She, of course, stayed there for several hours since I wanted my bed back.

This picture on the left is from 8 October 2003. I was watching VH1's 25 Greatest Commercials. And Scooter decided to visit some friends.
